This is a top notch clinic. Dr. Bergum and his staff at exceptional. I heard about the Regenexx program from a friend and decided to consult with IOS for chronic pain in my left hip. The first thing Dr. Bergum will tell you is that if he cannot help you with your pain, he will refer you to the proper specialists that may be able to. I have had pain in my left hip for about 6 years. Each year getting progressively worse, until it became just too much. I am an avid golfer who likes to walk and not ride. I had to ride a lot in 2022. At my consultation I was shown by ultrasound the difference between my left and right hip. My left hip joint area was cloudy and milky. My right was clear. The ball and socket are perfectly fine, but the tissue surrounding the joint was in bad shape. In addition, both labrums were bruised and frayed. Dr. Bergum recommended the full Regenexx stem cell treatment, stating he was confident I would feel 99% better. I decided to go through with the procedure in early September of 2022. I have severe Osteoarthritis in my left knee due to a torn cartilage in high-school and reinjuring that joint a few years later. My MRI also show an old ACL tear as well. I am 61 years old and always worked through the pain but thought it was time to get a total knee replacement since over the last year it has been increasingly difficult to do my normal activities becoming hard to walk by the end of the day due to the knee pain. I decided to see if Regenexx was right for me prior to a total knee replacement and I am glad that I did! Dr. Bergum and his team were outstanding when treating my injury!
